产品介绍 :  This gene is a member of the cyclophilin family of peptidylprolyl isomerases. The cyclophilins are a highly conserved family, members of which play an important role in protein folding, immunosuppression by cyclosporin A, and infection of HIV-1 virions. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Function:

PPIases accelerate the folding of proteins. It catalyzes the cis-trans isomerization of proline imidic peptide bonds in oligopeptides.

Abundantly expressed in kidney but has a ubiquitously low expression pattern in other adult tissues.

Belongs to the cyclophilin-type PPIase family.
